Size the machine to your largest vehicle

Every rollover and tunnel has a maximum washing height and width. A vehicle outside that envelope cannot be washed, however good the machine. List the vehicles you expect, mark the tallest and the widest, and compare those two numbers first.

Passenger cars are the core of all four car systems. Vans, jeeps and minibuses up to 3.00 m high and 2.20 m wide fit EPHESUS. Buses, coaches, rigid trucks and trailers need the SUNRISE gantry.

The conveyor tunnel takes cars up to 220 cm wide and 250 cm high. It is built for cars on high-traffic sites. For buses, coaches and trucks Europe Makine points buyers to SUNRISE.

EPHESUS takes passenger cars, vans, jeeps and minibuses up to 300 cm high and 220 cm wide, with two vertical brushes for the sides and one horizontal brush for the front, roof and back.

Its brush set is four upright brushes, each moving on its own, and a single horizontal brush. Its Brush Swing system adapts to a wide range of vehicles, and the 250 and 300 versions differ in washing height. The car systems page lists it at 24 to 32 vehicles an hour washing only, and about 14 an hour with drying.

Wrapped, matte and liveried vehicles

Some finishes should not meet a brush. ACROBAT 2X is the machine for wraps, matte paint, fresh finishes and liveries that must not be touched. Its two arms read the vehicle profile and clean front, back, sides and top.

For liveried buses and trucks, SUNRISE takes an optional brushless Hydrowash. Its high-pressure water robots run at 20 and 30 bar, sense the size of the vehicle, and soften dirt with chemicals before they wash.

Metro trains and light rail
